It is only through constant research and continual medical education that it is possible to further improve the quality of healthcare.

Through the IMO-UAB teaching department, we train future specialists to contribute good ophthalmology practice to society, based on knowledge, commitment and a close professional relationship with the patient.

The Continual Education Programme of the IMO aims to promote the training of ophthalmologists in different ocular subspecialisations. Moreover, we offer graduates in nursing, optics and optometry the possibility of updating their knowledge of new technology and its application in ophthalmology.
