Disorders that may be treated with refractive surgery
Refractive errors cause poor vision at different distances, due to the blurring of images on the retina. Today, there are many options for those who would rather not have to wear glasses. Refractive surgery is used to correct myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia (eyestrain) through the use of laser techniques or intraocular lens implantation.
Treatments: laser operations and intraocular lenses
As an alternative to wearing glasses or contact lenses, we offer several refractive surgery techniques for myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia (eyestrain) and dysfunctional lens syndrome. Whether opting for laser procedures or implantation of different types of lenses, our goal is to seek the best combination of effectiveness, safety and satisfaction of our patients’ visual needs.
