Professional career
Dr Alba Marín is an ophthalmologist in the Glaucoma Department at IMO Grupo Miranza Manresa.
She specialises in glaucoma and the optic nerve, with a special interest in the medical and surgical treatment of the disease, as well as its main risk factor: ocular hypertension.
She is experienced in minimally invasive procedures (MIGS) to treat glaucoma. She also specialises in cataract surgery.
She is an attending physician in the Glaucoma Department of Althaia Hospital. Bachelor in Medicine from the Pompeu Fabra University (2012 – 2018). Residency in Ophthalmology at Santa Creu i Sant Pau Hospital (2019 – 2003).
She is a member of the Organising Committee of the Catalan Ophthalmology Society Jove (SCOFT Jove).
