Professional career
Dr Clara Bonel is a specialist in the Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery Department at IMO Grupo Miranza Barcelona and Miranza Manresa.
She specializes in anterior segment pathology, cataract surgery, laser refractive surgery techniques (LASIK, PRK, KLEX), and lamellar and penetrating corneal transplants (DMEK, DSAEK, DALK, keratoprosthesis). She has experience in research, teaching, and international scientific collaboration.
She graduated in Medicine from the University of Barcelona (2013–2019).
She completed her residency in Ophthalmology (MIR) at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Center (2020–2024) and a fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Oftalmosalut (Lima, Peru).
